Nanny Peggy’s is a delightful sixteenth century cottage that is situated in the heart of this picture post card village. Sleeping two in a lovely ensuite double bedroom the cottage is an ideal getaway for couples looking for the peace and romance of the Derbyshire countryside.
It has been renovated to a very high standard with great attention having been paid to provide a high degree of home comfort.
 The lounge area has been tastefully decorated and is furnished with comfortable easy chair and settee with tasteful covers in keeping with the full length curtains.
A cast iron coal/wood burning stove is contained in a traditional inglenook fireplace built of local stone. Electric heaters are also installed around the cottage for your comfort.
The kitchen area is fully fitted and a range of units contain everything you should require. The cottage is fully Carpeted though out.
The beautiful double ensuite bedroom has ample storage space. The decoration is a plain pastel shades and wall lights add to the overall country cottage effect. This room has the added advantage of the second television and alarm radio.
Local amenities which are all within two minutes walking distance are two local public houses both serving bar meals, a country house for that special occasion, a village store/off licence, or our very own tearoom situated two doors down serving food all day everyday with a large selection of local arts and gifts.
